A grey coloured Audi A3 car was broken into and a Cube Special Edition Hardtail bicycle, colour red and white, a coat and a red and grey Camel pack bag were stolen.

Vehicle crime, LINTON WOOD MEADOW, GORSLEY, ROSS ON WYE

Overnight 15 Sept a Ford Focus car parked within a private carpark has been entered and a purse taken. Damage has also been caused to the vehicle.

THIS IS A NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH MESSAGE FROM CHRISSIE PARKES.

THERE HAS BEEN AN INCIDENT AT A FARM IN THE BLAISDON AREA ON THE 30TH AUGUST. UNKNOWN OFFENDERS HAVE ENTERED AN OPEN BARN AND STOLEN A WESSEX LINK BOX THAT ATTACHES TO A TRACTOR.

ALSO BETWEEN 22.00HRS ON THE 1ST SEPTEMBER AND 08.00 HOURS ON THE 2ND COPPER PIPING WAS STOLEN FROM THE FRONT OF A PROPERTY IN THE BULLY LANE AREA OF CHURCHAM. THE OWNER HAD BEEN APPROACHED ON THE 1ST OF SEPTEMBER BY TWO EASTERN EUROPEAN MALES ABOUT THE SCRAP AND HAD DECLINED THEIR OFFER TO TAKE IT AWAY.

A VAN WAS ALSO BROKEN INTO IN THE GLOUCESTER ROAD AREA OF UPLEADON ON THE 2ND. THE VAN WAS PARKED ON THE DRIVE AND A DEWALT CHOPSAW, BOSH JIGSAW, A DRILL, A MAKITA ROUTER, MAKITA SKILL SAW AND A DEWALT CORDLESS DRILL WITH A TOTAL VALUE OF £1630.00 WERE STOLEN.

A Mercedes Benz car parked in an hotel car park was entered and items stolen including a navy blue handbag with leather straps and 2 x Garmin Satnav.

A silver coloured Ford Galaxy Ghia, VRM YX54DZU, was stolen from outside a property overnight.
It was later discovered dumped in the Yew Tree Pub Car Park, Peterstow at about 22:00 having come from the Hereford direction. It has sustained damage to the frontend as though it has been into a ditch/hedge. Occupants then walked off in the direction of Ross.

A Ford Transit van parked on the roadside was broken into and a black metal tool chest containing hand tools and a cordless drill were stolen. Earlier in the day a suspicious orange/red coloured flatbed truck was seen on the farm.

Warning:

A red coloured Mini Cooper car bearing the VRM CE55HXN was involved in a VEHICLE CRIME at PONTRILAS during an attempt to break into a Ford Transit Tipper truck but the suspects were disturbed and drove off in the direction of Hereford.

NEWENT AREA (from Gloucestershire Police)

On the 26th of July a property in the Brand Green area of Redmarley was broken into. Between 11.30 and 15.15, unknown offenders have broken the front door of the property to gain entry. An untidy search of the property has been made but nothing was stolen.

On the night of the 27th of July a 2.7 ton Doosan excavator was stolen from a building site on the Tewkesbury Road near Newent. Unknown offenders have broken a window to gain entry and driven it away
