The Annual Meeting of the GORSLEY & KILCOT PARISH COUNCIL will be held in the Upper Room at Christ Church for the purpose of transacting the following business at 7.30pm on Monday 14th May 2018.

  1. To confirm Parish Council’s insurance provider for 2018/2019 and review the insurance provided by the policy.

  1. To agree Annual Governance Statement 2017/2018

  1. To agree annual accounts up to 31st March 2018 and Account Statements 2017/2018

  1. To complete Certificate of Exemption from a limited assurance review
  2. To receive internal auditor’s report and consider any action to be taken.

  1. To agree minutes of Council meeting on 5th March 2018

  1. To receive a report from the Clerk on actions requested in the minutes dated 5th March 2018 not covered elsewhere in the agenda including action tracker- FOR INFORMATION ONLY

  1. Financial Matters:
    1. To agree payments as per Cheque Approval Sheet
    2. To agree basis of Clerk’s expenses for 2018/2019
    3. To agree Clerk’s new salary according to NJC National Salary Award

  1. B4221 and Related Matters:
    1. To receive an update about Highway Matters and consider action
    2. To receive a report re Speedwatch and consider action
    3. To consider a Councillor’s review of all roads in the parish

  1. Planning Matters:
    1. To receive Planning Decisions
    2. To consider progress of enforcement action required in parish

  1. To receive a report about Public Rights of Way in Kilcot Wood and consider action.

  1. To approve new Standing Orders

  1. To receive a report on Clerk’s GDPR Training and Action required.

  1. To consider resolutions for GAPTC AGM

  1. To finalise details for Annual Parish Meeting on Thursday 17th May

  1. To confirm dates of meetings until May 2019

PLANNING APPLICATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING BY THE PUBLIC FROM 7.15PM ON THE NIGHT AND BY APPOINTMENT WITH THE CLERK (Mrs Margaret Highton 01531 820245) AT CHRIST CHURCH GORSLEY

ALL MEETINGS OF THE COUNCIL ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND PRESS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ITEMS CONSIDERED UNDER STANDING ORDER 1C

All meetings can be moved downstairs if stairs are an obstacle to attendance at a meeting or a Loop System is required. A wheelchair ramp can be provided to access the church.
